The family I married into is really remarkable. One thing that I am thankful for is that they lack the materialism bone that most Americans are supported by. Every other Christmas we make presents for each other. In the past years I've received a quilt, puzzles, coasters with our pictures, pens made out of cherished wood, and so much more fun stuff! This year is not a homemade Christmas, but instead we drew names form a hat. Luckily, I received the matriarch of the family (shhhhhh!!!!) who loves tea and gardening. So, I decided to make her a herbal tea garden. Fantastic to be able to garden during Christmas (I believe that today is in the 70's)!!!
This plant hanger includes lemon balm, chocolate mint, chamomile, and lemon grass. I still have seeds in the mail that have yet to arrive and they include stevia (yes! I am in the right zone to grow it!), echinacea, and cinnamon basil.
I love making gifts that will keep giving!
